Astana to Host International GSMA M360 Eurasia Forum
The event is scheduled for autumn 2027
In autumn 2027, Astana will host the international M360 Eurasia forum. The corresponding agreement was signed by representatives of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan and the global association GSMA, the press service of the department reported.
The forum's theme will be artificial intelligence, expanding digital inclusivity, and issues of legal regulation in this area. Experts, employees of supervisory bodies, and businessmen from Central Asian countries and other regions will gather in Astana on one platform.
The choice of Kazakhstan as the venue for the M360 Eurasia forum is due to the high pace of digital transformation processes and the progressive development of the country's AI ecosystem.
Zhaslan Madiev, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, stated that the GSMA M360 Eurasia forum is an important event for the republic. Thanks to this event, international cooperation will be strengthened, and opportunities will arise for attracting investments and promoting Kazakhstani projects to new markets.
Laszlo Toth, Head of GSMA for Europe and Central Asia, noted that the choice of Kazakhstan as the venue for this forum is not accidental. The republic's authorities pursue a consistent policy to expand digital infrastructure – from deploying 5G networks to innovations in the field of AI. GSMA sees the dynamics and results of this work, he added.
