French agricultural machinery manufacturer KUHN to open plant in Kazakhstan
Saparbekov visited the plant in Saverne
A delegation from Kazakhstan, led by Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Olzhas Saparbekov, visited the KUHN plant in Saverne during a trip to France. Issues of industrial cooperation were discussed at the meeting, the press service of the relevant department reported.
The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the management of AGROMASH plant and Eurasia Group AG. They were shown the full production cycle, key technological processes, and quality control standards applied at the Saverne plant.
The key topic of the negotiations was the development of cooperation in the field of agricultural machinery engineering.
The parties considered the prospects for localizing KUHN equipment production in Kazakhstan, as well as increasing production competencies.
The press service of the department clarified that the Kazakh and French sides determined further actions for the implementation of the agreements reached.
Saparbekov's trip to France was a logical continuation of the meeting between Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and major foreign agricultural machinery manufacturers in spring 2026. At that time, AGROMASH, Eurasia Group AG, and KUHN Group signed an agreement on deepening industrial cooperation. The document also addressed the issue of equipment localization.
