They will adapt the economy for robots: Kazakhstan will identify enterprises for the implementation of new technological solutions
The Ministry of Industry of Kazakhstan will identify enterprises for the implementation of domestic digital solutions and form demand for robotics. The corresponding instruction was given by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov at a government meeting.

Bektenov called the scaling of digitalization to all enterprises in Kazakhstan important, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
It is necessary to combine key production data into a single industry Data Lake. This should become the basis for the widespread introduction of AI, so that digitalization gives enterprises a concrete result – increased productivity, reduced costs, and improved competitiveness.
The meeting also discussed the development of robotics. In August 2026, construction began in Astana of the Qazbot company's plant for the production of robots for various purposes.
Bektenov urged to support the demand for automated equipment within the country. To do this, it is necessary to assess the needs of the state and businesses, and provide manufacturers with long-term contracts. Having received such guarantees, manufacturing plants will be able to increase capacity and improve the level of localization of finished products, the Prime Minister emphasized.
He instructed the Ministry of Industry of Kazakhstan to prepare a list of priority enterprises and technological processes for the implementation of domestic digital solutions within 2 months.
