Prime Minister Bektenov approved the plan for the implementation of the Digital Qazaqstan strategy
Authorities are preparing for the mass introduction of AI into all sectors of the economy
The Cabinet of Ministers of Kazakhstan approved an action plan for the implementation of the Digital Qazaqstan strategy. The resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. This was reported by the government's press service.
What areas does the plan cover:
- mass introduction of artificial intelligence in education (by 2029, 80% of school, college, and university graduates must have basic AI skills)
- transition to a unified data management system in healthcare (increase in the number of citizens using medical self-service services)
- improving the safety and comfort of the urban environment (implementation of AI Native cities®ions solutions, including intelligent emergency monitoring systems)
By 2029, the time for providing public services and social support measures should be reduced by at least 50%.
In the fuel and energy complex, about 70% of assets will be connected to digital monitoring. In the construction industry, 100% of complex objects will be supported in a digital circuit.
In transport and logistics, digitalization will cover the entire path of cargo from sender to recipient. In the agricultural sector, digital solutions will help increase the efficiency of land cultivation. In the field of taxation, a significant part of the processes will be automated.
At the same time, the authorities aim to increase the volume of IT services exports by 50%. Thanks to the "Valley of Data Centers" project, international technology companies will be attracted to Kazakhstan.
