Kazakhstan's airline Scat Airlines has signed an agreement with Boeing (USA) to convert a passenger Boeing 767-300ER into a Boeing 767-300BCF cargo aircraft. This was announced by the carrier's press service.

The new project will allow SCAT Airlines to enter the air cargo market and begin transporting general and express cargo.
Scat Airlines emphasized that the demand for mid-sized wide-body cargo aircraft in the Central Asian region is growing. The updated Boeing, which features high payload capacity, will enable flights to promising destinations.
The carrier will be the first in Kazakhstan to operate the Boeing 767-300BCF. Scat Airlines President Vladimir Denis stated that the aircraft's conversion by the manufacturer itself is important to ensure compliance with all established requirements.
