The fleet of Kazakh airline SCAT (headquartered in Shymkent) has been supplemented with a new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.
SCAT operates 35 modern aircraft, providing air transportation on domestic and international routes. The Boeing 737 MAX 8 is the eleventh aircraft of this type in the airline's fleet, the department added.
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft received by SCAT became the third aircraft accepted in 2025. It is known that the carrier will receive another Boeing aircraft by the end of this year.
SCAT became the first airline in the post-Soviet space to receive the latest Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. They have been delivered to the carrier since 2018.
