Kazakhstan's IT Services Exports Grew to $1.1 Billion

A large share comes from Astana Hub residents

Kazakhstan exported IT services worth $1.142 billion by the end of 2025. Over the past 5 years, this represents more than a thirtyfold increase. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic.

IT services exports showed consistent growth throughout the period: in 2021, exports amounted to $60.07 million, in 2022 - $337 million, in 2023 - $529.1 million, in 2024 - $690.7 million, and in 2025, it exceeded $1 billion for the first time.

At the same time, as specified by the relevant department, IT services exports exceeded imports. Expenses for purchasing foreign digital solutions amounted to only $429 million.

Kazakhstani IT companies are expanding their geographical presence. Developers from the republic supply their solutions to 110 countries worldwide.

A large share of exports comes from residents of the Astana Hub technology park. In 2025, its participants (537 companies) provided programs and services to other countries worth $634 million.

The authorities of Kazakhstan support the scaling of Kazakhstani technology companies, as well as their entry into the international market. Astana has set a goal to increase IT services exports to $5 billion by 2030.
