Sitrak trucks and KTZ trains will transport steel pipes from China to Kazakhstan
The multimodal route was launched by "Kedentransservice" company
The company "Kedentransservice" (a subsidiary of NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy") has organized a multimodal route for transporting over 150 thousand tons of steel pipes from China to Kazakhstan. This was reported by the KTZ press service.
Transportation is carried out by rail and road in two directions: import deliveries to Kazakhstan and transit transportation to Turkmenistan.
In September-October 2026, the volume of steel pipe transportation will amount to 163 thousand tons. Managing logistics requires adhering to loading and securing technology, as well as clearly coordinating transport, emphasized KTZ.
"Kedentransservice" has a fleet of special equipment, including Chinese-made Sitrak trucks. Transportation is also carried out by KTZ trains. By developing transport capabilities, the company strengthens its position in the international logistics market, concluded the press service of the national carrier.
