Zaisan See Company to Build High-Tech Fish Processing Complex in East Kazakhstan Region
An investor from Poland has been attracted to the project
A Kazakh company, Zaisan See, will build an integrated fish processing complex in the East Kazakhstan Region (EKR). The enterprise will breed fish, process, store, and sell fish products on the domestic market. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic.
Investors plan to breed pike, perch, and zander. Chilled and frozen fish will also be supplied for export.
The investment volume in the project will be up to 6 million euros. A foreign investor from Poland has been attracted to the project implementation.
The plant's capacity is 2 thousand tons of finished products per year. Approximately 100 jobs will be created at the production facility. The first stage of the fish processing complex will be commissioned in August 2027.
The press service of the department emphasized that modern resource-saving technologies will be implemented here. In the future, the enterprise's fish processing capacity is planned to be increased. In addition, Zaisan See will train qualified personnel for aquaculture at the plant.
