Yield increased 3-fold: NanoKukirt agricultural crop preparation developed in Kazakhstan
It contains sulfur and calcium
Scientists from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) have developed an innovative bifunctional preparation, NanoKukirt, for use in organic agriculture. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

The preparation is available as a liquid and suspension for use as a fertilizer and a means of protecting plants from fungal diseases. NanoKukirt contains 25% sulfur and 5% calcium.
Tests of the development were carried out at the KazNU Agrobiostation and in the fields of Turkestan region. The preparation was tested on grain, vegetable, and leguminous crops. It promoted the development of the root system and improved nitrogen nutrition of plants.

As a result of tests on corn crops, by soaking seeds in a 2% "NanoKukirt" solution for 24 hours, the yield increased from 20.41 to 61.22 tons per hectare, i.e., three times.
According to the scientist, the resistance of plants to phytopathogenic fungi significantly increased, and the incidence of diseases decreased.
The KazNU development has already received a certificate for use in organic agriculture. Six people are involved in the production of NanoKukirt. A total of 15 researchers are working on the project.
