Great Wall Motors Training Center Opens at Lu Ban Workshop

The Great Wall Motors Engineering and Technical Specialists Training and Certification Center has opened at the Lu Ban Workshop of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (VKTY). This is the first official site in Central Asia, according to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

The launch of the project was previously announced by Sayasat Nurbek, the head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the republic. Employees of Great Wall Motor, Tianjin Vocational Institute, and Astana Motors participated in its implementation.

The center will train specialists in diagnostics, repair, after-sales service, and intelligent systems for Great Wall Motor vehicles. Graduates will be able to work in the Chinese brand's dealerships and service centers.

15 VKTY lecturers and engineers have already completed the HAVAL H7 and TANK 500 service program. The Tianjin Vocational Institute is responsible for methodological support.

In the future, specialists will be trained across the entire Great Wall Motors model range. The center plans to train about 500 people from Kazakhstan and other countries annually.
