Kazakhstan's authorities have transferred the service for accepting first-grade applications to the educational platform OQU (oqu.edu.kz). Over 105 thousand applications have already been submitted. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic.

The project aims to create a convenient and accessible mechanism for enrolling children in schools, reduce the administrative burden on educational organizations, and develop a unified digital educational environment.

Specialists modernized the platform's architecture, launching it in stages across regions. This ensured the stable operation of OQU.

To submit an application, authorization is required using an electronic digital signature (EDS), eGov QR, or login and password. Thanks to integration with state information systems, some data about the future first-grader is loaded automatically.

Parents are not required to attach documents. The application is reviewed within one business day. A notification about the processing then arrives in the Personal Account or via SMS message.
