For Alatau City, this means the formation of new smart city infrastructure. We are talking about creating an entire ecosystem — from air taxis and vertiports to digital navigation and cargo drones. This is how the low-altitude economy begins to develop in Kazakhstan.
Construction of the first vertiport has already begun in Alatau City. It will be a compact ground platform for take-off/landing and charging of aircraft. It is being designed by UrbanV.
It is expected that a unified air network will connect Alatau City, Almaty, and key locations in the Almaty region. The estimated flight time from Almaty Airport to Medeu resort is expected to be 10-12 minutes.
AAAG also signed an agreement with AutoFlight for the supply of 50 V2000/V5000 series aircraft. The document provides not only for procurement but also for technology transfer and training of specialists in Kazakhstan for aircraft maintenance.
