AI Leaders 2026 Educational Program Launched in Kazakhstan

It will be attended by top managers of major technology companies

The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Development of Kazakhstan is launching the AI Leaders 2026 educational program with the support of Stanford University Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and the OpenAI Academy platform. This was reported by the press service of the department.

It is designed to train leaders in the field of AI in Central Eurasia. The academic director of AI Leaders 2026 is Professor Peter Norvig of Stanford University HAI.

As a result of the program, based on the expertise of Stanford University HAI and OpenAI Academy technologies, each participant will develop an applied AI strategy for their organization.

The training, which started on April 8 in a live session format, includes more than 30 hours. Almost 150 heads of large organizations in the region are taking part in AI Leaders 2026, including the Samruk-Kazyna and Baiterek holdings and the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

Upon completion of the course, they will be awarded Stanford University HAI certificates. This initiative is aimed at comprehensive training of personnel, the ministry summarized.
