Palo Alto Networks Helps Kazakhstan Build Reliable Cyber Defense

Students from 5 universities are undergoing educational programs according to international standards

The cooperation between the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan and the American company Palo Alto Networks, which operates in the field of cybersecurity, has moved into a practical phase. The partnership covers a number of important areas, including the protection of state information systems and education. This was reported by the press service of the department.

Thanks to Palo Alto Networks, Kazakhstan has gained access to innovative solutions to ensure the stability of the country's digital infrastructure. We are talking about the following areas:

  • AI protection technologies
  • AI-powered firewalls
  • SASE and ZTNA 2.0 architectures for accessing corporate resources
  • Cortex XDR and XSOAR

The tools developed by American specialists are needed to build Operational Information Security Centers (OCIB/SOC).

In addition to technical support, Palo Alto Networks helps in educational initiatives. In particular, students from 5 Kazakhstani universities are being trained: Kazakhstan-British Technical University, SDU University, AUES, Astana IT University and international universities Coventry and De Montfort.

Future specialists are mastering the work with solutions in the field of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
