Vice-Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan Dinara Shcheglova met with representatives of Huawei. The negotiations focused on training personnel in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technologies. This was reported by the press service of the department.
Vice President for Central Asia Huawei Xu Hai and his colleagues presented their experience in developing an educational ecosystem in the field of information and computer technologies and AI. The discussion focused on the work of the Huawei ICT Academy and certification courses.
Huawei cooperates with more than 3,500 universities around the world and implements training programs for specialists in areas such as AI, Cloud, Computing and network technologies.
The Kazakh side presented the AI-Sana educational program to the guests. It is aimed at training specialists with AI skills.
Huawei's top management showed a documentary about the AI-Sana program and the transformation of the personnel training system in Kazakhstan. The ministry believes that this initiative will help popularize achievements in the field of AI.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan confirmed its interest in developing cooperation with Huawei, including new educational programs and support for startups. The parties agreed to develop and implement AI courses.
