Almost 96% of public services in Kazakhstan have become accessible via smartphone
Authorities are developing services in the eGov Mobile app
More than 5.4 million Kazakhstanis have used the "Stop Credit" function on the eGov.kz portal or in eGov Mobile, introduced to protect against fraudsters. This became known at a meeting between Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the republic Doszhan Musaliev and residents of the Almaty Region.
Today, digital transformation is already delivering tangible results. 92% of public services in the country are provided online, and 95.9% of them are accessible via smartphones.
The agency stated that last year citizens of Kazakhstan received 54 million public services. Most of them were provided online.
A ministry representative told event participants about:
- the capabilities of the eGov Mobile app
- QR signature services
- biometric identification
- "Social Wallet"
Residents of the Almaty Region also learned details about sectoral projects — Tomorrow School, AI Sana, and AI Qyzmet. The authorities believe that these initiatives contribute to the formation of new AI talent and will, in the long term, ensure economic growth.
