Smart City tools presented at the Ministry of AI and Digital Development of Kazakhstan
Akimat employees are being trained in AI technologies
A program to train akimat employees in modern digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, covering all regions, has launched in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the republic's Ministry of AI and Digital Development.
Deputy head of the ministry Dmitry Mun held a live broadcast on the YouTube platform for representatives of local government bodies. He spoke about data analysis, key digital systems, and the preparation of managerial decisions.
During the broadcast, the following were presented:
- Smart Data Ukimet analytics tool
- National AI Platform
- urban environment management portal smart-city.govarch.kz
Mun's presentation attracted more than 2,000 civil servants from all regions of Kazakhstan. Akimat employees were given access to the National AI Platform to implement AI solutions in their work.
In addition, they were offered the opportunity to take an educational course and gain practical skills in working with new technologies. In particular, this includes analytical dashboards, Smart City tools, and ensuring cybersecurity.
Smart City is a comprehensive approach to urban development based on digital technologies. Work in this area began in Kazakhstan in 2015. One of the cities with a high level of digitalization according to the SMART CENTRES INDEX ranking is Astana.
