The lightweight multi-purpose twin-engine aircraft for local routes Let L-410NG joined the aviation fleet of JSC "Kazaviaspas" in 2025. This was reported by the press service of Kazakhstan's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ministry emphasized that the rescue service's aviation is "mobile, modern, ready to operate in any conditions."

At the controls is a new generation of pilots for whom the profession has become a conscious choice and a true mission.

One of them is Let L-410NG co-pilot Zhomart Kyrgyzbai. He takes part in air ambulance flights, delivers medical teams to remote regions of Kazakhstan, and also participates in carrying out missions during emergencies.

The L-410NG aircraft was developed by the Czechoslovak aircraft manufacturer Let Kunovice. The aircraft is designed for operation on unprepared sites and airfields with short runways. It can carry up to 19 passengers on board or transport up to 1,800 kg of cargo over a distance of up to 1.5 thousand km.
