Allur has started construction of a center for localizing the production of auto components. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, Yersaiyn Nagaspayev.
In the next three years, it is planned to launch new projects for the localization of auto components, such as heating and air conditioning systems, brake and fuel lines, as well as plastic interior parts and floor coverings.
The minister said that in 2025, the automotive industry accounted for over 41.7% in the structure of the machine-building sector. A total of 171 thousand vehicles were produced, of which 159 thousand were passenger cars.
What was done in 2025:
- a plant was launched in Almaty, where Chery, Haval, Changan are assembled
- the Kia Qazaqstan plant in Kostanay started operating
- an auto component technology park appeared in Almaty (production of multimedia systems and car seats)
- Tengri Tyres launched tire production in Saran
- KamLitKZ organized the production of cast iron in Kostanay
KazFoodProduckts, in cooperation with JSC NC "KazMunayGas" and American partners, has begun construction of an industrial line for the production of environmentally friendly automotive and aviation fuel (SAF). The estimated capacity is up to 50 thousand tons of fuel. About 200 million dollars will be invested in the project.
