QazaqGaz signed contracts with Kazakh manufacturers for equipment supply
The total value of the agreements will exceed 7 billion tenge
The national company QazaqGaz signed off-take contracts worth more than 3 billion tenge excluding VAT. Contracts for more than 4 billion tenge will be signed by the end of 2026. This was stated by Almas Akilov, Managing Director for Procurement and Supply, during a round table on supporting Kazakh commodity producers.
These volumes confirm that QazaqGaz is fulfilling the instructions of the country's leadership to increase the share of domestic goods in procurement and improve the system of off-take contracts.
At the event, QazaqGaz's subsidiary, JSC Intergas Central Asia, signed a contract with Zhaik Electric for the purchase of a welding unit. Another agreement, with PRODCORE, provides for the supply of an automatic control system for a gas pumping unit.
In addition, JSC Intergas Central Asia signed a memorandum on the localization of production of gas pressure regulators, quick-release devices, and steel pipes with BatysMunaiGazZhabdyktary, the Kazakhstan Metal Structures Plant, and TEMPO – Kazakhstan. Thus, QazaqGaz strengthens the position of local manufacturers in the gas industry of Kazakhstan, the ministry summarized.
