Electronic Contract Management System Implemented at NC "KazMunayGas"
With the CMS, applications for the purchase of petroleum products can be submitted
The oil and gas company "KazMunayGas" has implemented a Contract Management System (CMS), which allowed the transfer of key customer interaction processes to an electronic format. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
What can be done with the CMS:
- submit applications for the purchase of petroleum products
- sign contracts using an electronic digital signature
- process documents for obtaining fuel
- track transaction history
- give consent to provide information constituting tax secrecy
This has significantly reduced the time for processing transactions and minimized the volume of paper document flow.
Since the launch of the CMS, more than 9 thousand electronic contracts have been concluded for the supply of over 6 million tons of petroleum products.
Currently, specialists are integrating a digital petroleum product distribution mechanism. This approach allows decisions to be made based on sales data at gas stations and through other sales channels. For this purpose, information systems of the State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan will be integrated into the CMS.
The Atyrau, Pavlodar, and Shymkent oil refineries are transitioning to the new system. Enterprises are already submitting applications for oil refining in electronic format.
