AI program Baqylay.kz for risk analysis in public procurement developed by students in Kazakhstan

The second stage of the AI-Sana program has concluded at the International Kazakh-Turkish Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University. Students used the knowledge gained to develop real projects. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

Projects aimed at solving pressing problems are being developed at the university's Startup Office. One of them is the AI-Jan platform for bullying prevention in educational institutions and providing psychological assistance. In 2025, the development was recognized as the Best Social AI Project.

Another promising project is the In-Map digital platform for managing and monitoring regional investments. It is being implemented in pilot mode in Turkestan Region.

Students also developed the AI program Baqylay.kz using AI technologies. The project analyzes risks in the field of electronic public procurement. Its goal is to ensure transparent use of budget funds.

An equally important project in the field of botany is Digital Twin. It is being implemented in the Botanical Garden of the Kazakh-Turkish university. Students use IoT sensors and drones to collect information about the condition of plants. In this way, they increase the effectiveness of their research.

Students are also working on the 3D Avatar and Soile projects for digital communication in the Kazakh language. AI technologies are planned to be introduced into the sphere of education and public services.

In the third stage of the AI-Sana program, students will be trained in a project-based format. They will be able to focus on the development and improvement of startups.
