Students of Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynuly (Baitursynuly University) have developed a racing car in 2 years. The model was designed and assembled on the basis of the university, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan reported.
The rector of the university, Seitbek Kuanyshbayev, said that the student initiative could help create a national brand of racing cars.
Our key task is to train qualified specialists for the machine-building industry.
The work was carried out in the Center for Advanced Engineering Technologies. Every detail of the car was created in digital format, and then tested using computer modeling. After successful simulations, its final version was made.
The university's partners provided support for this project. Some parts were processed on special machines. Some components were purchased in other countries.
The final version is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds. The car is designed for one pilot.
