New laboratories have opened at Satbayev University, where applied research is being conducted. The head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, visited the scientific sites. This was reported by the press service of the department.
The main focus of Satbayev University is engineering sciences. The new laboratories will conduct research for the needs of industry, the agricultural sector, medicine, ecology, hydrogeology and the construction industry.
For example, the laboratory of hydrogeochemical research will begin to study the chemical composition of groundwater and monitor its quality. Scientists are implementing the strategic project "Kokzhide" to use the groundwater deposit for water supply to arid regions of Kazakhstan.
The laboratory of molecular biotechnology and mass spectrometry will be engaged in developments in the field of biotechnology and ecology. The office is equipped with equipment that allows molecular genetic analysis of the material.

On behalf of the President, Stroytech Technopark was created at the university to form scientific and technological parks. On its basis, scientists will be able to realize and monetize their ideas.
