One of the best universities in the USA, Stanford University, has offered an educational grant to a student from Kazakhstan, Alikhan Serikov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic.
Serikov is a prize-winner of the world robotics championship. He participated in FIRST competitions, starting in the junior league (FIRST LEGO League) and reaching the senior league - FIRST Tech Challenge.
In the overall standings, Serikov became the winner of the Central Asian regional championship. Their team was invited to the world stage of the competition in the USA.
In the final, Serikov's team received the Inspire Award, taking 3rd place. The jury noted their skills in engineering and design.
The Kazakh student is happy for the opportunity to study at Stanford University. He chose the field of Management Science & Engineering.
