Central Asia Programming Championship Won by Participant from Tajikistan

Kazakhstanis took second and third places

The Central Asia Programming Championship 2026 in sports programming took place in Shymkent. It brought together participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic.

Programmers had the opportunity to demonstrate their analytical skills by solving international-level problems in the ICPC format. In the final, the best was Farhod Hakimyion from Tajikistan, who took first place and received 1.5 million tenge. Second place went to Aibar Kuanyshbay from Kazakhstan (prize - 1 million tenge), and Altair Ashurov, also from Kazakhstan, came in third (prize - 500 thousand tenge).

This championship inspires me to develop further and apply algorithmic knowledge in real projects.

Adina Magavina, Director of Alem.ai Foundation, stated that the level of the championship participants was incredibly high. The competition became a platform for the exchange of experience between IT talents of Central Asia, as well as a test of their competencies.
