Regional IT hubs will become growth points for local technology ecosystems. This opinion was expressed by the CEO of Astana Hub, Magzhan Madiev, during the round table "Digital Regions of Kazakhstan" at the Digital Qazaqstan forum in Shymkent.
According to him, the regions will be able to attract IT talents and investments in technology projects. As an example, Madiev spoke about the achievements of Astana Hub.
The central platform has ensured an inflow of investments from Google and Microsoft, the creation of 30,000 jobs, and a 67-fold increase in the total income of participants (up to 2.5 trillion tenge).
Thanks to the tax multiplier, regional hubs receive a ready-made formula for success.
Madiev emphasized that the development of the ecosystem is built on a multi-stage principle: from the Startup School and Startup Orda programs to international accelerators, including Silkway Accelerator. This approach allows finding a major investor, as well as entering foreign markets with your product.
Astana Hub has supported many successful startups. These include the CITIX and Arlan Biotech projects.
