Employees of the transport police department are informing foreigners at Astana Airport about the rules for a safe stay in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
During the event, tourists arriving on the Omsk – Astana flight were given tourist cards with QR codes.
Deputy Head of the Migration Service Department of the Department of Police on Transport Yerlan Togyzbayev explained that the cards are issued to travelers upon entry into the republic, including at airports and railway stations.
The QR code leads users to the Safetravel.kz portal. They also get access to a mobile application that contains all the necessary information, including emergency numbers, taxis.
Foreigners are reminded of the rules of migration registration. The recommendations are written in four languages: Kazakh, Russian, English and Chinese.
Since the beginning of 2026, law enforcement officers have issued more than 211,000 tourist cards. The work is also underway at the airports of Almaty, Shymkent, Turkestan, Aktau and Ust-Kamenogorsk.
