Strengthening cooperation in the field of scientific and technological cooperation and training personnel in the oil and gas industry were the main topics of negotiations between the head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, and the chairman of the management board of JSC NC «KazMunayGas», Askhat Khassenov. This was reported by the press service of the department.
Nurbek stated the importance of consistent integration of science, industry and advanced technologies for the development of the economy of Kazakhstan. According to him, the country is now focused on the application of scientific developments and the creation of products with high added value.

Khassenov noted that «KazMunayGas» cooperates with scientific organizations and representatives of the academic community. The company is currently implementing a Roadmap for R&D, which covers 80 research topics. In particular, it concerns geology, development of oil fields and petrochemistry, he stressed.
