"01.AI" Company to Help Train AI Specialists in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan's labor market is being adapted to the introduction of new technologies

The head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan, Askarbek Yertaev, met with the CEO of «01.AI», Li Kai-fu. The topic of the negotiations was the adaptation of the labor market to the conditions of active AI implementation. This was reported by the press service of the department.

Earlier, the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, instructed the government to launch a National Online Platform for retraining and advanced training of specialists. The project is one of the components of the Digital Qazaqstan strategy. It should reduce the risk of job displacement by new technologies (including neural networks).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the mechanisms for creating this platform.

«Center for the Development of Labor Resources» JSC will be responsible for the technical implementation. The platform will be created on the basis of the existing Skills Enbek ecosystem. It will integrate educational solutions from «01.AI».

We are talking about online courses that will cover several areas:

  • improving employee skills and increasing labor productivity with the help of AI tools
  • professional retraining of employees who may potentially be displaced by neural networks

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan has already analyzed the impact of AI on the employment structure, and has also prepared a list of professions subject to technological transformation. The relevant information was transferred to «01.AI» experts for the preparation of educational content.
