The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Halyk Bank are developing the Halyk Farmer digital platform to form a unified digital data circuit for the agro-industrial complex (APK). This was reported by the press service of the relevant department.
Halyk Farmer will combine data on livestock accounting, transactions, and industry analytics. This will increase transparency in the industry and provide new opportunities for Kazakh farmers.
The digital transformation of the APK is primarily about traceability, data quality, and trust.
The new platform will help further digitize the APK, including for the introduction of new digital services for the state and business.
The Government of Kazakhstan is actively implementing digital tools in agriculture. By the end of 2028, the E-APK mega-platform will appear, which will combine the Unified State Information System for Subsidies, a platform for monitoring the rational use of agricultural lands based on satellite data, and agricultural marketplaces.
