Application with video dictionary of sign language "e-Ymdau" developed in Kazakhstan

The video dictionary of sign language "e-Ymdau" was developed by Kazakhstani specialists. The project expands opportunities for communication with people diagnosed with hearing impairment. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.
The main feature of "e-Ymdau" is an interactive information base where words and concepts are presented through visual demonstration of gestures.
The "e-Ymdau" application covers 21 lexical topics. Users can find the necessary words thanks to an automated search system. The video dictionary works in Kazakh and Russian languages.
"E-Ymdau" can be downloaded from the App Store digital store or used online on the website of the National Scientific and Practical Center for the Development of Special and Inclusive Education.
The ministry's press service emphasized that such projects improve the quality of inclusive education. They create additional opportunities for full participation in society for citizens with special needs.
