STM sent a batch of special equipment for the railway to Kazakhstan
ELB-4S electric ballast cleaners and UK 25/25 track-laying cranes will be put into operation in the republic
The Russian machine-building holding "Sinara – Transport Machines" sent a new batch of track equipment (manufactured by the "Kalugaputmash" plant) to Kazakhstan. This was reported by the holding's press service.
Currently, 3 ELB-4S electric ballast cleaners are undergoing commissioning and will soon begin servicing Kazakhstan's main railway network.
Another 2 UK 25/25 track-laying cranes and a mechanized platform with a cabin MPK will be used in the construction of new tracks.
The holding emphasized that Kazakhstan remains one of the key markets. More than 80 locomotives, 40 hopper-dosers, 12 electric locomotives, 4 UK 25/25 track-laying cranes, and 8 mechanized platforms with MPK cabins manufactured by STM are operated on the railway in the republic.
