The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev, stated that attracting foreign experts affects the pace of technological progress. In addition, the republic is training its own specialists.

Thus, by 2030 it is planned to train 10,000 specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. They want to increase IT service exports to 5 billion dollars.

According to Madiyev, the process of obtaining Digital Nomad Residency should be transparent and fast. Every talented IT specialist should realize their potential precisely in Kazakhstan, the minister concluded.

The Digital Nomad Residency program was launched in January 2025. Its main goal is to make the republic a leading IT center in Asia.
