The International Center for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Alem.ai has summed up the results of the national competition Alem.ai battle. About 830 applications from all regions of Kazakhstan were submitted for participation in it, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the country reported.
The head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiev, said that "AI talents today are a real driving force" of the republic. It is important for the ministry to ensure the continuity of knowledge, as well as to involve young minds in the development of technologies, he added.
Out of 20 finalist projects, 4 best were named. In the AI Young Talents nomination — SuGuard, this is a system for non-invasive assessment of blood glucose levels and early detection of diabetes risk.
In the AI Driving Power nomination, students with the Ustaz AI project became the winners. The development helps teachers generate assignments for schoolchildren and manage the education process.
The Robio project turned out to be the best in the AI Innovators nomination. This is a tactile glove with AI that detects seals in the mammary gland. With its help, doctors can diagnose a neoplasm with 90% accuracy.
Reaching the final and winning is the result of long-term research, experiments and constant improvement of our technology.
The main prize in the AI Future Builders nomination went to the team that developed NCSpeech. The decentralized service is integrated into SuperApps, it turns users' waiting time into AI assets. The project collects "live" datasets for training models.
