A digital mechanism for submitting documents to military universities has been introduced in Kazakhstan. Since February 1, the relevant service has been available on the eGov.kz portal, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Defence reported.
Kazakh citizens aged 18 to 24 can submit an application. Applications are accepted until June 10, 2026.
It is necessary to log in to the eGov.kz portal, go to the sections "For Citizens" – "Military Registration and Security" – "Military Service", select the service "Acceptance of Applications for Admission to Military Educational Institutions" and fill out the electronic form.
Information about the applicant is verified automatically. The system will receive data from:
- psychoneurological
- narcological
- tuberculosis dispensaries
In addition, the agency will check for disability or a criminal record. Education documents are uploaded from state information systems without the candidate's participation.
The result can be found in the personal account. The Kazakh Ministry of Defence explained that online document submission makes the process transparent. Before that, applicants had to personally visit local military administration bodies and undergo a medical examination.
