The government must strengthen its work on the digitalization of the healthcare system to address a number of issues. This instruction was given by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenov.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, and the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan must complete the implementation of the Unified Medical Data Storage by April 1. In addition, Bektenov instructed the development of a Unified State Medical Information System.
Relevant departments must digitize the data of the Social Health Insurance Fund by the end of 2026. According to the Prime Minister, the authorities face a number of important tasks and "there is no time to waste."
It is necessary to make bold and effective decisions and implement them promptly.
