The second stream of the AI Governance 500 program has started in Astana, training political leaders to scale artificial intelligence technologies in the public sector. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Development of Kazakhstan.
AI Governance 500 trains management personnel to implement the national Digital Qazaqstan strategy. The program will help form a pool of AI officers - leaders who support digital projects and build interaction between departments.
In the second stream, there were more representatives from the apparatuses of maslikhats. The corresponding instruction was given by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He emphasized the need to reduce the digital divide between the center and the regions of Kazakhstan.
The implementation of Digital Qazaqstan depends on the readiness of leaders to make changes in their departments and regions. Digital competencies must be strengthened locally so that technologies help solve issues for citizens and businesses faster.
The program participants also included representatives of the Government Apparatus, Kurultai deputies, vice-ministers, deputy akims of regions, and heads of quasi-state organizations.
AI Governance 500 participants will be taught a strategic understanding of the role of AI, the architecture of a digital state, and the development of applied projects. This refers to initiatives that will increase the effectiveness of management decisions and simplify the interaction of the state with business circles and society.
