An educational program with the participation of specialists from Boeing and Istanbul Technical University was organized for students at the Civil Aviation Academy in Almaty. The course is aimed at developing modern digital and professional skills of future aviation specialists. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.
The ministry explained that the training is taking place within the framework of the international Upskilling Project. Academic training will be supplemented with new competencies that are in demand on the market.
Such initiatives allow expanding students' professional horizons, developing their digital and communication competencies, and fostering readiness to work in a rapidly changing aviation industry.

A total of 125 students are participating in it. The program coordinator is Professor Hülya Cebeci from Istanbul Technical University and Filiz Hayirli Tepebasi, Director of Government Affairs, Strategic and Business Development at Boeing in Ankara.
According to Filiz Hayirli Tepebasi, the aviation industry in Central Asia has seen growth. Its development requires well-trained specialists.
We believe that Kazakhstan can become a strong link for aviation in Central Asia. That is why Boeing invests in the development of education and the formation of human resources potential in the aviation industry.
Such training helps to gain international experience in one's field. After completing the training, students will be issued certificates confirming the acquisition of new competencies.
