The E-Qamqorlyq software and hardware complex with artificial intelligence elements has been implemented in military unit 5510 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau. Now military personnel can find out the caloric content of each dish. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.
This data becomes part of digital analytics, which allows taking into account the food preferences of personnel and, if necessary, adjusting the menu.
The department explained that FoodPos is installed on the serving line. The device uses AI to recognize dishes on a serviceman's tray and determines the content of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in them. After eating, the quality of nutrition can be assessed through the Q-Voice panel.
Since the launch of the pilot project, Q-Voice has been used 1.5 thousand times. The system controls the purchase and storage of products. For example, Q-Store manages warehouse accounting, Q-HACCP monitors temperature, humidity, and sanitary standards, and Q-Staff manages medical clearance of personnel.
The capabilities of E-Qamqorlyq are currently being tested in military unit 5510. If its effectiveness is confirmed, the complex will appear in other military units of the National Guard, the ministry concluded.
