Employees of the territorial department of the Committee for State Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan for the Karaganda region have started using unmanned aerial vehicles for inspecting energy facilities. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
What objects are inspected:
- power lines
- buildings and structures
- chimneys
- hard-to-reach areas
The press service of the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan emphasized that aerial photo and video surveys help assess the technical condition of equipment, promptly identify damage and potential risks.
The use of modern technologies increases the efficiency and effectiveness of state energy control and contributes to ensuring the reliable operation of the region's energy infrastructure.
Drone technologies for monitoring are also used in Pavlodar and Almaty regions (diagnostics of hydraulic structures and control of coal warehouses), and in West Kazakhstan region for inspecting main gas pipelines.
