The number of recorded crimes in Kazakhstan decreased by 6% to 96.6 thousand facts in 2025 compared to 2024. The use of video monitoring and analytics systems improved clearance rates. This was reported by the official information resource of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
Strengthening law and order is achieved through consistent adherence to the principle of zero tolerance and the expansion of "carpet" video surveillance systems.
Currently, most crimes in the republic are solved using digital technologies. In particular, the digital coverage of public spaces (street cameras, surveillance systems in courtyards, transport hubs, etc.) is becoming unified, without "blind spots".
At the same time, law enforcement officers, within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" initiative, control the environmental situation. Since 2025, 496 thousand violations of landscaping rules have been identified, and 2.6 thousand illegal dumps have been eliminated. More than 27 thousand cameras with video analytics, including 568 cameras for waste detection and 205 cameras for smoke control, help monitor the country's environmental well-being.
