The head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, stated that the country needs to train its own engineering and scientific personnel. The production of anthropomorphic robots should help create a unified technological chain. The model of integrating education, science, and production is necessary for Kazakhstan, he concluded.

The ministry's press service noted that universities in the country offer 56 educational programs in the fields of robotics, mechatronics, industrial automation, and AI. In addition, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at Nazarbayev University is developing competencies in humanoid robotics.
