Network City Technology Town to Appear in Burabay Village

The project is being implemented by the Akmola Region Akimat and Network School

The Network City technology town will appear in Burabay village, Akmola region. The project will be implemented by representatives of the regional Akimat and the international technology community Network School. This was announced during a meeting between Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and the community's founder Balaji Srinivasan, according to the government's press service.

The construction of modular infrastructure is envisioned, taking into account the natural landscape and existing urban planning solutions.

The international innovation hub Network City may expand into Alatau City in the future. In the long term, the platform will become a center of attraction for IT specialists, businessmen, and researchers, combining opportunities for work, education, and the development of a professional community.

Bektenov noted the importance of attracting experts in new technologies to Kazakhstan. According to him, the country pays special attention to the development of AI and the protection of citizens' personal data.

Joint initiatives were also discussed at the meeting, including participation in the AI Film Festival and holding the Network State Conference within the framework of the international forum AI & Digital Bridge.

Following negotiations with Balaji Srinivasan, the Prime Minister instructed relevant departments to assist in the implementation of the Network City construction project.
