The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan has implemented a mechanism for exchanging electronic permit forms for transportation with Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the relevant department.
Thanks to the electronic format, drivers will not have to fill out paper forms. This minimizes bureaucracy and removes administrative barriers.
The processing and use of permits are carried out digitally through the integrated information systems of the parties.
How to obtain a permit
The service is provided on the portal elicense.kz in the "Transport" section. An electronic permit is issued for a vehicle registered in Kazakhstan and authorized for international transportation.
The press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic stated that in the future, the list of countries with which similar rules will apply will be expanded. The department also urged drivers not to purchase permit forms from third parties. All information, including carrier details and the state registration number of the vehicle, is automatically transmitted to Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan.
In case of discrepancies, the specified countries may refuse entry. All documents must be processed in strict accordance with established procedures, the ministry concluded.
