Over 30,000 offenses prevented with cameras in Kyzylorda

Most of them are traffic rule violations

Employees of the Operational Control Center (OCC) of the Police Department of Kyzylorda Region ensure public safety. Modern technologies are used for these purposes, including video streams from street surveillance cameras, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan reported.

Since the beginning of 2026, 58 crimes have been solved under the coordination of the center. With the help of OCC surveillance cameras, over 30,000 offenses were prevented, of which more than 25,000 were traffic rule violations.

Law enforcement officers drew up several reports against the driver of a Volga who was driving without a fastened seat belt. Upon inspection, it was found that his vehicle had not passed technical inspection.

In addition, cameras recorded a 55-year-old man stealing a bicycle from the entrance of an apartment building in Kyzylorda. He was detained red-handed.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan urged to observe public order and traffic rules. Ignoring the rules entails administrative responsibility.
