From June 1, 2026, mandatory registration of waybills and consignment notes in the Unified Transport Document Management System (ESUTD) will be introduced in Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the republic.
The new measure applies to all market participants who carry out cargo transportation by vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons. The norm was introduced into the order of the Minister for Investments and Development of Kazakhstan No. 546 in 2020.
The authorities believe that registration in ESUTD will simplify the document processing process, as well as reduce the volume of paper document flow. Access to data will be possible in electronic format.
In case of violation, administrative responsibility is provided in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 571-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Kazakhstan. Registration is available on the portal esutd.gov.kz.
