Kazakhstani universities presented their developments in the field of green technologies

President Tokayev visited the exhibition as part of the Regional Environmental Summit

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as his counterparts from Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, visited the International Exhibition of Green Technologies as part of the Regional Environmental Summit. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition featured projects by the republic's leading universities in the field of the "green" economy. For example, Shakarim University showcased the Agrosector. digital platform. It provides analytics of agricultural potential, helps improve specialists' qualifications, and also ensures technology transfer.

The university presented developments in four areas: Green Energy (renewable energy), Food Tech (innovative food products), Green Tech (secondary raw materials processing), Upcycling (resource reuse technologies).

Students of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov spoke about new breeding methods: Genomic Selection and Speed Breeding. In addition, the university is developing the Smart Zhetysu platform. Thanks to it, educational processes are automated, and students can use digital assistants.

Kazakh National Agrarian Research University presented the DeepBas digital platform. Artificial intelligence has been integrated into it for water resource management. The government supported this project, and it is being scaled to Kazakhstan's largest water basins.
