Next-Generation Engineering Center KazLAE Opens at KazNU

Development areas include unmanned aviation, aeromobility, and intelligent control systems

The Kazakhstan Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Research Center – KazLAE Industrial Research Center – has opened at Kazakh National University (KazNU). It will focus on developments in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and engineering sciences, according to the press service of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan.

The head of the ministry, Sayasat Nurbek, stated that the most advanced research laboratories are located within the walls of KazNU. This approach contributes to the formation of the core of the innovation ecosystem.

The KazLAE center plans to develop unmanned aviation, aeromobility, and intelligent control systems.

Here, scientists and industry representatives will join forces to implement applied projects that yield concrete results for the technological modernization of the economy.

The activities of the KazLAE Industrial Research Center will be aimed at solving urgent problems in the real sector of the economy, as well as at introducing autonomous systems.
